Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere is ready to quit the club in the summer after reaching an impasse in contract talks, according to a report.
The 26-year-old has been locked in discussions with the Gunners over the past few weeks regarding fresh terms, having been allowed to enter the final three months of his existing deal.
Wilshere, who has been a part of Arsenal's senior fold since 2008, is said to have been offered reduced wages of 25% to his current £120,000-a-week salary.
Despite manager Arsene Wenger publicly claiming that talks are progressing between club and player, The Sun suggests that the two parties are "miles apart" and the Englishman is now ready to walk away.
The report indicates that Wilshere is unhappy with the money he has been offered, as new signings Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Henrikh Mkhitaryan both arrived on double the salary in January.
