Willian reiterates that he would jump at the opportunity to pen a three-year contract at Chelsea if those terms were offered in the coming weeks.

Willian has reiterated that he would 'sign a new contract at Chelsea tomorrow' if he received a three-year extension.

While Willian is regarded as one of Frank Lampard's most important players, a stand-off over an extra 12 months on a fresh deal is threatening to result in the Brazilian departing Stamford Bridge on a free transfer.

Although the 31-year-old has acknowledged that there has been no change in the situation, the playmaker says that his preference is to stay with the Blues.

Speaking to Youtube channel De Sola, Willian said: "There are rumours about several teams that may be interested. For the time being, I have had no concrete proposal. But rumours always arise. I'm waiting. My agent hasn't given me any news yet. I'm waiting for his call.

"Chelsea only offer me two years and I asked for three. My goal in the next contract is to sign for three years. So I haven't had a deal with Chelsea yet.

"This is what I asked the club for, three years of contract. If you give me that, I'll get the pen and sign the contract tomorrow."

With his preference being to stay in London, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with an approach for the player.
