Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger says that "nothing has changed" regarding Jack Wilshere amid reports that Everton want to sign the midfielder.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has reiterated that he wants Jack Wilshere to stay at the club, amid reports that Everton are keen to sign him.

The Merseyside outfit are reportedly hoping to clinch the midfielder's signature on a free transfer when his contract expires at the end of the season.

Arsenal are willing to offer fresh terms to Wilshere, but negotiations have hit a stumbling block, which pours doubt over his future at the Emirates.

When asked about the latest reports during his pre-match press conference, Wenger told reporters: "On my side nothing has changed. Jack will be free at the end of the season.

"We make a proposal to him, I want him to stay and be linked with the club in the future. That is my desire and I hope he will do it."

Meanwhile, Arsenal are preparing to take on AC Milan in the second leg of their last-16 tie in the Europa League.
