Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly preparing a bid for Arsenal target Loic Remy.
The 27-year-old has long been linked with a move to the Gunners, who are believed to be keen on bringing him to the Emirates.
However, according to The Mirror, new Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is interested in signing the Frenchman and will offer £8m to Queens Park Rangers in order to trigger his release clause.
Spurs are confident that the offer of a regular starting spot will appeal to Remy, despite his desire to play in the Champions League.
Remy scored 14 goals in the Premier League during a loan spell at Newcastle United last season.
