Santos star Gabriel Barbosa wanted by Chelsea?

Gabriel Barbosa, who has scored two goals in four appearances at international level for Brazil, is reportedly a £25m target for Chelsea.

Santos striker Gabriel Barbosa is weighing up a move to Chelsea despite strong interest from elsewhere, according to a report.

It was recently claimed that the Blues' London rivals Arsenal had made a move to sign the 19-year-old, who has drawn interest since being called up to the Brazil squad for the 2016 Copa America.

Barbosa is widely expected to leave Santos this summer following a number of big-money bids, with Brazilian publication Globo Esporte suggesting that the youngster is tempted by a switch to Stamford Bridge.

The same report states that a £25m bid has already been tabled by Chelsea boss Antonio Conte, as the new man in charge steps up his plans for the upcoming season after officially taking over this week.

Barbosa, who has scored two goals in four appearances for the Selecao, admitted on Tuesday that he is still uncertain about his future at this stage.
