Gonzalo Higuain's proposed move to Arsenal is reportedly waiting on Carlo Ancelotti being appointed as the new Real Madrid manager.
The Argentine apparently underwent a medical with the Gunners on Monday having agreed terms on a transfer, despite continued interest from Juventus.
However, a deal hinges on managerless Madrid announcing Ancelotti as their new boss before the switch can be signed off.
Jeremy Wilson of The Telegraph tweeted on Monday night: "On Higuain to Arsenal, deal agreed in principle with player and club. But Real stalling on signing it off [before] new manager's in place"
The transfer fee that would take Higuain to the Emirates Stadium is reported to be around £22m.
