Newcastle United defender Mathieu Debuchy will reportedly undergo a medical at Arsenal within the next week.
The 28-year-old is currently with the France squad at the World Cup and has been constantly linked with a move to the Gunners this summer.
Following Bacary Sagna's departure to Manchester City, Debuchy is thought to be one of Arsene Wenger's primary transfer targets.
According to L'Equipe, Arsenal and Newcastle have been in talks over his transfer for the past week, with the Magpies finally accepting an offer of £7.9m, which may rise to £12m in bonus payments.
Debuchy joined Newcastle from Lille in January 2013 for a reported fee of £5.5m.
