Villarreal forward Gerard Moreno has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Arsenal.
The 23-year-old enjoyed a strong 2014-15 season with the Yellow Submarine – scoring 16 times in all competitions.
According to The Mirror, Moreno has a release clause of just £3m, which has alerted a host of European clubs.
As it stands, Arsenal are said to lead the race, with head coach Arsene Wenger believing that Moreno would thrive in the Premier League due to his physicality.
Moreno joined Villarreal back in 2010 and was a regular scorer in their C and B sides before making his first-team debut in 2012.
