Arsene Wenger is bracing himself for the potential departure of Bacary Sagna, with Manchester City reportedly closing in on the Frenchman.

The 64-year-old wants the Japan international to replace Sagna and has sent scouts to watch Uchida ahead of the World Cup, reports The Mirror.

Arsenal have also been linked with Toulouse right-back Serge Aurier.
