Arsenal 'to replace Bacary Sagna with Serge Aurier'

Serge Aurier will reportedly join Arsenal in a £7m deal, replacing Bacary Sagna for the Gunners.

Arsenal will reportedly waste little time in finding a replacement for French international Bacary Sagna by completing a deal for youngster Serge Aurier this summer.

Sagna, 31, has been heavily linked with a move to Premier League champions Manchester City in the close season after failing to agree a new deal with Gunners so far.

However, The Express claims that Arsene Wenger will quickly move to bring in the Toulouse defender in a transfer thought to be worth £7m.

Wenger is said to be keen to finalise a deal for Aurier, seeing the Ivory Coast international as someone who can fit in anywhere along the back line for the FA Cup winners.

Aurier has been selected in the Ivory Coast squad for the forthcoming World Cup in Brazil.
