Arsenal failed with a move for Barcelona defender Junior Firpo in the January transfer window, according to a report.
The Gunners were linked with a number of left-backs on deadline day, including Patrick van Aanholt and Ryan Bertrand of Crystal Palace and Southampton respectively.
RAC1 claims that Firpo was another option for Arsenal as they desperately attempted to bring in some serious competition and cover for Kieran Tierney.
However, Barca are said to have been unhappy with the offer made by the North London outfit and turned it down.
Firpo has been used 11 times by Ronald Koeman in all competitions this season, just three of those being starts.
Barca are believed to have lined up Chelsea's Marcos Alonso as a replacement for Firpo had they been successful in finding the 24-year-old a new club.
