Out-of-favour Arsenal forward Lukas Podolski has admitted that he dreams about one day returning to former club FC Koln.
The 29-year-old, who has not made a Premier League start for the Gunners this season, spent six years at the Bundesliga club either side of a spell at Bayern Munich.
He has conceded that he may have to leave the Emirates Stadium to play more regularly, with Koln among several sides being linked with an interest in the German, and that move would appeal to Podolski.
"I can imagine a transfer to FC in the next few years because I'm always attached to the club," the Daily Star quotes him as saying.
"I have always said that I want to hear this hymn again when walking up the stairs with the number 10 shirt. That's what I dream about and I hope it comes true again."
Podolski started his career at Koln and scored 77 league goals in 189 appearances for them.
