Crystal Palace are eyeing a loan move for Arsenal striker Marouane Chamakh, according to a report.
The Morocco international has struggled to break into the Gunners' first-team since his arrival from Bordeaux in 2010.
Palace boss Ian Holloway is poised to offer Chamakh a chance to play regular football at Selhurst Park as he looks to bolster his side's attacking options going into their Premier League campaign.
A source told The Sun: "Chamakh's now top of the manager's wishlist.
"He wants a targetman to compliment Dwight Gayle and Chamakh fits the bill. Holloway feels he can bring the best out of him and has always rated him.
"The plan is to bring him in for six months and see how the move works out. By that time Glenn Murray should be back fit and in contention."
Chamakh spent part of last season on loan at West Ham United, but managed just three scoreless appearances.
