Luis Enrique to snub Chelsea for Arsenal?

Former Barcelona boss Luis Enrique is reportedly expected to snub a move to Chelsea in the hope that Arsenal make an approach.

Former Barcelona boss Luis Enrique is reportedly expected to snub a move to Chelsea in the hope that Arsenal make an approach.

Enrique, who is currently out of work after leaving the Catalan giants last season, is allegedly a frontrunner for the Blues job should Antonio Conte depart Stamford Bridge.

According to the Sunday Star, however, Enrique has his eyes set on a move to the Emirates Stadium, where he allegedly believes he will settle better than in West London.

The newspaper adds that Paris Saint-Germain are also keen on Enrique, although the French club are understood to be tracking Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino as a more suitable replacement for Unai Emery.

Enrique, appointed at Camp Nou in 2014, won the treble in his first season with Barcelona, before adding a further La Liga title and a total of three Copa del Rey crowns.
