Liverpool are said to be "categorically" not interested in a deal for Brazilian forward Luan amid reports that the club are already in talks over a summer transfer.
The Reds were first linked with a move for the 24-year-old some 18 months ago and in recent weeks the rumours have resurfaced following the exit of Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona.
Yesterday Yahoo! Sport claimed that Liverpool are already in advanced talks with Luan's club Gremio and are prepared to meet his €18m (£15.7m) release clause ahead of next season.
According to the Liverpool Echo, however, Jurgen Klopp's side are "categorically not in talks for the Gremio forward with there being no truth in the claims" that he could move to Anfield later this year.
Luan, who had eight goals in 12 Copa Libertadores appearances last year, has also been linked with Arsenal, Stoke City and Leicester City.
