Real Sociedad have announced that Alexander Isak has signed a new contract with the club until June 2026.
The 21-year-old enjoyed a strong 2020-21 campaign for his Basque side, finding the back of the net on 17 occasions in 34 La Liga appearances, while he also impressed for Sweden at Euro 2020.
Liverpool have been linked with the striker, while Chelsea, Arsenal and Real Madrid have also been credited with an interest in Isak over the last few weeks.
However, Real Sociedad have announced that the Swede has penned a fresh deal with the La Liga outfit until June 2026, effectively ruling out a switch during this summer's transfer window.
Isak struggled to make his mark at Borussia Dortmund after a switch from AIK in 2017, but he thrived during a loan spell at Willem II before joining Real Sociedad on a permanent deal.
According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, the White and Blues have also bought out the €35m (£30.1m) buy-back clause that Dortmund agreed upon his exit in 2019.
