Everton have reportedly emerged as surprise contenders to land Borussia Dortmund forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The 28-year-old has been in fine form for the Bundesliga side over the last few seasons, scoring 96 goals in 140 league appearances, and already has 11 in 12 so far this season.
Aubameyang's future at the club has come into question in recent months, however, with a number of disciplinary issues allegedly leading Dortmund to a decision to offload him in January.
Chelsea and Arsenal are long-term admirers of the Gabon international, while his signature is said to be a top priority for Liverpool and ex-Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp.
According to Bild, however, the Toffees have also entered the race for Aubameyang as new manager Sam Allardyce looks to finally sign a replacement for Romelu Lukaku.
AC Milan have also been linked with a move to re-sign their former youth product.
