Arsenal's Nacho Monreal and Liverpool's Alberto Moreno are reportedly being considered as potential summer signings by Barcelona.

Arsenal's Nacho Monreal and Liverpool's Alberto Moreno are reportedly on Barcelona's transfer shortlist as the Spanish champions look for an experienced back-up for Jordi Alba.

Alba recently put pen to paper on a long-term contract at Camp Nou, but Barca lack cover for the Spaniard.

According to El Desmarque, Monreal and Moreno are being considered for the position, with both players due to see their respective contracts expire in June.

Monreal has made over 200 appearances for Arsenal since arriving from Malaga in 2013, while Moreno has made close to 150 appearances for Liverpool over the last five campaigns.

Barca will travel to Real Madrid in La Liga on Saturday night for the second Clasico in the space of three days.
