Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone has hinted that a fresh move for Arsenal playmaker Santi Cazorla this summer is not out of the question.
Cazorla played a pivotal role in helping the Gunners pip their London rivals Tottenham Hotspur to fourth place in his debut Premier League season, scoring 12 goals in 37 starts.
Arsenal are unlikely to sell the Spaniard unless they receive an exceptional offer, but, bankrolled by the £50m acquired from the sale of Radamel Falcao, Atletico have the financial capabilities to make such a bid.
According to The Express, Arsenal firmly rebuffed the La Liga outfit's approach for Cazorla last week, but Simeone has refused to rule out returning for the 28-year-old with a new offer.
He told AS: "It is not good to talk about individual players, but until the club closes the comings and goings, anything is possible.
"We'll see what happens from the sporting directors. Until the window is closed, anything is possible."
Cazorla cost the Gunners £15m when he joined from Malaga last summer.
