Arsenal are edging closer to securing a deal for Barcelona forward Pedro following a transfer request to the Camp Nou hierarchy by the 27-year-old, according to reports.
The Gunners are said to have been tracking the Spain international's status in recent weeks, with reports indicating that he is unhappy at the Liga giants.
According to The Express, Pedro has handed a transfer request to the Blaugrana in a bid to secure more game time, which may prompt the North London outfit to swoop for him.
Pedro is thought to be valued at £25m.
