Arsenal have reached an agreement over a £50m deal for Brighton & Hove Albion's Ben White, according to a report.
The Gunners were thought to be eyeing a move for the centre-back throughout England's Euro 2020 campaign and supposedly had bids of £40m and £45m knocked back by the Seagulls.
Everton and Manchester City were both tipped to rival Arsenal for the signature of White, but it appears that the Gunners are set to win the race for his services.
According to The Athletic, Arsenal have finally come to an agreement in principle with Brighton over a £50m transfer, and the 23-year-old will soon undergo a medical in North London.
The report claims that a number of other clubs were keeping tabs on White's future, but they had already conceded defeat to Arsenal, who were the only side to come forward with official offers.
The defender did not play a single minute for England at Euro 2020, but he started 36 Premier League matches for Brighton last season.
