Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Arsenal could line up for Sunday's Premier League clash with Everton.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta will likely have to work around the absence of Takehiro Tomiyasu for Sunday's Premier League final-day clash with Everton at the Emirates.

The Japan international suffered another muscular injury in Monday's loss to Newcastle United and has taken his place on the sidelines alongside Kieran Tierney and Thomas Partey.

Arteta will at least have Rob Holding back from suspension, while Gabriel Magalhaes has been pictured in training, but there was no sign of Ben White in the latest session.

A fresh Holding could therefore partner Gabriel in the back three, while Cedric Soares and Nuno Tavares's spots in the wide areas are seemingly not under any threat amid Arsenal's injury worries.

Granit Xhaka did not hold back after the defeat at St James' Park, and the Switzerland international will expect to hold his place in the middle alongside Mohamed Elneny, even though Partey is now back in training with the group.

Emile Smith Rowe is another player who was seemingly absent from training in midweek, but Gabriel Martinelli was always expected to return on the left-hand side.

Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard will retain their spots in the final third as ever, while Eddie Nketiah should keep Alexandre Lacazette out of the side in what could be both of their final appearances in an Arsenal shirt.

Arsenal possible starting lineup: Ramsdale; Cedric, Holding, Gabriel, Tavares; Xhaka, Elneny; Saka, Odegaard, Martinelli; Nketiah
