How Arsenal could line up against Crystal Palace

Sports Mole looks at how Arsenal could line up for Thursday's Premier League clash with Crystal Palace.

Arsenal could potentially break into the top half of the Premier League when they take on Crystal Palace on Thursday evening.

The Gunners have finally found some form under Mikel Arteta thanks to four wins in a row in all competitions, with three of those coming in the top flight.

Arteta's men now have two winnable home fixtures to come in quick succession - this visit of Palace followed by a meeting with Newcastle United - as they play catch up on the sides above them.

Here, Sports Mole looks at how Arsenal could line up for their London derby with Palace.

Arteta heavily rotated his side for the FA Cup third-round tie with Newcastle, which the Gunners won 2-0 in extra time.

The Spaniard could revert back to the same XI that beat West Bromwich Albion last time out in the league, meaning another chance for Emile Smith Rowe to shine.

Alexandre Lacazette is set to lead the line as he looks to build on a positive run of form.

The striker has scored seven Premier League goals this season, which is more than twice as many as any other Arsenal player.

Thomas Partey is back in contention for the hosts following another spell on the sidelines, but he is unlikely to be fit enough to play a full part.

That leaves Gabriel Martinelli as Arsenal's only confirmed injury absentee after damaging his ankle ahead of the Newcastle game.
