Arsenal trio Emile Smith Rowe, Tyreece John-Jules and Folarin Balogun have all been included in the England Under-21s squad for October's European qualifiers.
Smith Rowe was on the brink of selection for the senior team, manager Gareth Southgate confirmed, but the Hale End graduate is back with the Under-21s after withdrawing from September's games through illness.
Balogun, meanwhile, has already netted four goals in three Premier League 2 games this term, but John-Jules is yet to get off the mark in 10 Championship games for Blackpool following his loan move.
However, Lee Carsley has named all three in his squad for October's clashes with Slovenia and Andorra, while Harvey Elliott and Ryan Sessegnon are out due to injuries.
Lille attacker Angel Gomes is the only new face in the squad, with the former Manchester United youngster already making eight appearances for the Ligue 1 champions this term.
