Mathieu Debuchy has claimed that the competition for places at Arsenal is the most intense that he has experienced during his career.
Debuchy, Hector Bellerin and Calum Chambers are all vying for the right-back spot at the Emirates Stadium, while Nacho Monreal has also been favoured by manager Arsene Wenger this season.
Arsenal are currently in third place in the Premier League table, three points behind Manchester City in second position.
When asked if the competition at Arsenal is the fiercest that he has encountered, Debuchy told the club's official website: "I think, yes. We have a lot of good players who can play at right-back, I think of Hector and Calum. They have both done well this season.
"They are young and talented, with a huge potential to become very good players. They've proved so far this season that they have the qualities to be at Arsenal. We have a very good relationship between us, good affinities as with the rest of the team. We do some very good work in training, and it is always better to train in this environment. We've never had any problems between us."
Arsenal saw their eight-match unbeaten run in the Premier League come to an end last night with a 1-0 defeat at home to Swansea City.
