Arsenal midfielder Mikel Arteta has admitted that he has had to change his game in order to fit into the Gunners' style this season.
The Spaniard has slotted into the North London outfit, who currently sit seventh in the Premier League table, after moving to the Emirates from Everton last summer.
"It's a very important job, balancing the team between attack and defence, and that's what I've been attempting to do," Arteta told the club's official magazine.
"I've had to change my mentality a little bit. I know that I can't go forward as much as I used to and I need to sacrifice more in attack but if it's beneficial for the team I'm more than happy to do it."
Meanwhile, Arteta's teammate Santi Cazorla recently claimed that it is 'strange' that the former Toffees player has not yet been given a chance at international level.
