Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale could reportedly be forced to pull out of the England squad for March's friendlies with a hip injury.
After making his international debut in the 10-0 thumping of San Marino last year, Ramsdale earned an expected call-up to the squad for this month's clashes with Switzerland and Ivory Coast.
However, Ramsdale is absent from Arsenal's squad to face Aston Villa after picking up a hip injury in the first half of Wednesday's 2-0 loss to Liverpool, with Bernd Leno starting in his place.
According to The Athletic, Ramsdale is now a 'serious doubt' for the international break and will likely be forced to withdraw from Gareth Southgate's squad while he recovers.
At this stage, the severity of Ramsdale's issue is unclear, but the report adds that he was able to travel to Villa Park with his teammates in order to take his place on the sidelines.
The 23-year-old has kept 12 clean sheets in 24 Premier League matches for Arsenal this season - only Alisson Becker and Ederson have more in the top flight.
