Sports Mole rounds up all of the action from gameweek five of the 2021-22 Women's Super League season.

Arsenal Women remained at the top of the Women's Super League rankings with a resounding 3-0 success over Everton Ladies on Sunday.

Jonas Eidevall's side maintained their perfect start thanks to goals from Katie McCabe, Lotte Wubben-Moy and Frida Maanum, with that result ending a two-game winning run for their visitors.

The Gunners are now the only team in the division with their 100% record still intact, as Tottenham Hotspur Ladies suffered their first defeat of the season 2-1 to Brighton & Hove Albion Women.

Chelsea Women took advantage of their London rivals' slip-up to move into second place, as goals from Pernille Harder and Fran Kirby propelled the Blues to a 2-0 win over Leicester City Women, who remain bottom having opened the new season with five consecutive defeats.

Fourth-placed Manchester United Women played out an enthralling 2-2 draw with rivals Manchester City Women on Saturday evening, as Gareth Taylor's side rescued a point following Georgia Stanway's red card, with the Man City defender then reporting that she suffered online abuse as a result of the sending off.

Elsewhere, Reading Women claimed their first win with an impressive 3-0 success over Aston Villa Women, while Birmingham City Women registered their first point of the season in a 1-1 draw with West Ham United Women.
