Albania's Football Federation have reportedly expressed their intention to appeal against UEFA's decision to award Serbia a 3-0 walkover win following their abandoned match earlier this month.
The Euro 2016 qualifier in Belgrade was called off when a brawl broke out between the two sets of players when a drone carrying an Albanian flag was flown over the pitch.
As a result of the political tensions being heightened by the stunt, UEFA has awarded Serbia the victory, but has also deducted them three points and forced them to play their next two home games in Group I behind closed doors.
"The UEFA commission's decision does not give justice," Albania coach Gianni De Biazi is quoted by AFP as saying. "The three points belong to Albania and they've taken away from us what we've deserved."
A number of Serbia fans also invaded the pitch and attacked Albanian players during the unsavoury scenes.
