Lyle Taylor makes AFC Wimbledon switch

AFC Wimbledon bring in striker Lyle Taylor from Scunthorpe United.

AFC Wimbledon have completed the signing of striker Lyle Taylor from Scunthorpe United for an undisclosed fee.

The League Two side have not disclosed the length of the 25-year-old's contract.

Taylor scored four goals in 25 games for Scunthorpe last season before spending the second half of the campaign on loan at Partick Thistle.

"I was interested in Lyle as soon as I heard that Scunthorpe might want to let him go," Wimbledon boss Neal Ardley told the club's official website. "He has very good movement and technique, his finishing is very good and he is also quick."

Taylor, who started his career with Millwall, joined Scunthorpe from Sheffield United at the start of last season.
