Aston Villa defender Joleon Lescott has completed a transfer to Greek club AEK Athens.
The former Manchester City player, who dropped down the pecking order at Villa Park following Roberto Di Matteo's arrival as manager, has signed a two-year deal at AEK.

Lescott was thought to be on the verge of joining Scottish outfit Rangers earlier this month, but the defender pulled out of a deal due to family reasons.
The 34-year-old, who had one year remaining on his contract with Villa, had a difficult relationship with the supporters last season due to numerous incidents.
In January, the former England international argued with a group of fans during an FA Cup clash against Wycombe Wanderers, and a month later, he sparked controversy by tweeting a photo of a £125,000 car not long after Villa were heavily beaten 6-0 by Liverpool.
Lescott claimed that the image was tweeted by accident while the phone was in his pocket.
The footballer, who has also had spells at Wolverhampton Wanderers and Everton, spent one season at Villa after joining from West Bromwich Albion last summer.
