Ignazio Abate, Luca Antonini near Russia move

The agent of Ignazio Abate and Luca Antonini admits that both players could still make the move to Russia.

AC Milan defenders Ignazio Abate and Luca Antonini could still make the move to Russia, according to their agent.

It is believed that Milan are willing to let the pair leave in a bid to balance the books, after the signings of Mario Balotelli and Bartosz Salomon.

Spartak Moscow are keen on Antonini, while Zenit St. Petersburg are still not giving up the chase for Abate.

The players' representative, Andrea D'Amico, has now admitted that his clients could still leave the San Siro.

"The acquisition of Mario Balotelli and Bartosz Salomon could force Milan into parting with some of their players," D'Amico told Izvestia.

"I do not exclude the possibility that these could be Antonini and Abate."

Milan face Cagliari in Serie A this afternoon.
