England diver Jack Laugher: "I couldn't be happier"

Jack Laugher says that winning his third diving medal of the Commonwealth Games for Team England feels "absolutely amazing".

England's Jack Laugher has revealed that he "could not be happier" following his gold-medal success in the men's 3m synchronised diving at the Commonwealth Games.

The 19-year-old, who also won gold in the individual 3m springboard event yesterday to add to his previous silver, recorded a score of 431.94 with teammate Chris Mears to come out on top.

"That was absolutely amazing," Laugher told BBC Sport. "It has been a rollercoaster. I couldn't happier. There was always pressure - me and Chris just wanted to nail it like we have all year."

England also won bronze at the Royal Commonwealth Pool courtesy of Nick Robinson-Baker and Freddie Woodward.
