James Wade wins the final two legs to earn a 6-6 draw against Phil Taylor on week four of the Premier League.

James Wade recorded an 80 checkout in the final leg of his match with Phil Taylor to earn a 6-6 draw on week four of the Premier League.

Taylor looked to be heading for his third successive victory when he opened up a 6-4 advantage, but Wade fought back to take the final two legs to prevent the 16-time world champion from moving clear at the top of the table.

Michael van Gerwen kept pace with Taylor after he hit 5 180s on the way to recording a 7-2 triumph over Andy Hamilton.

The performance of the night came from Robert Thornton, who averaged in excess of 109 in seeing off Scottish compatriot Gary Anderson 7-2.

In the night's other matches, Raymond van Barneveld and Wes Newton both earned 7-3 wins against Simon Whitlock and Adrian Lewis respectively.
