New Zealand edge out England in team sprint

New Zealand take gold from England in the men's team sprint in a Commonwealth Games record time.

World champions New Zealand have taken gold in the men's team sprint night after edging out England in the final.

The Kiwis got themselves into a slight lead from the off and gradually increased it throughout, despite a strong effort from the English.

New Zealand completed their laps in a Commonwealth Games record time, and in the end their 43.181 was just over half a second better than England's effort.
