Chennai Super Kings take a four-wicket win over Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League.

Chennai Super Kings have secured a four-wicket win over Kolkata Knight Riders with just five balls to spare in the Indian Premier League.

Gautam Gambhir (25) and Yusuf Pathan (25) made a solid start with the bat, but the rest of the top order failed to build on the opening partnership.

Jacques Kallis was run out without facing a ball, while Eoin Morgan added just two runs before Dwayne Bravo claimed his wicket.

Chennai made a quick start in reply to the hosts' 119-9, with Mike Hussey (40) and Ravichandran Ashwin opening the batting, but Ashwin was dismissed for 11.

Although Hussey continued to add runs at a steady rate, there was little support further down the order until Ravindra Jadeja joined the Australian at the crease, adding 36 runs off 14 balls to help the Super Kings to pass their opponents' total in the final over of the game.
