Pakistan pile on the runs against Bangladesh

Mohammad Hafeez moves onto 190 not out as Pakistan reach 333-2 at lunch against Bangladesh on the third day of the first Test.

Pakistan have reached 333-2 at lunch on day three of the first Test against Bangladesh in Khulna, with Mohammad Hafeez closing in on a double century.

The tourists began the day on 227-1 after powering their way through the last two sessions on the second day.

Hafeez and Azhar Ali began the third morning at the crease and were looking to continue the dynamic batting that had served them well the previous day.

The pair brought up their 200 partnership as Pakistan also passed the 250-run mark, but Ali's innings came to an end on 83 when he was bowled by Shuvagata Hom.

Younis Khan arrived at the crease and he helped to keep the score moving along at a quick pace, with Pakistan passing 300 in the 79th over.

Hafeez will begin the afternoon session just 10 runs short of his first double ton, while Khan is on 31.
