Bangladesh have reached lunch one wicket down in the form of Tamim Iqbal following a cautious approach to their first Test against Pakistan in Khulna.
The hosts have closed the morning session on 60-1 after deciding to open the batting once they had won the toss on a day that has produced light drizzle in the air.
Iqbal and Imrul Kayes began the attack for Bangladesh, but they decided against scoring quick runs while the bowlers attempted to frustrate their opponents.
Within 25 overs, the batsmen reached a combined 50, but their partnership could only produce two more runs before Iqbal was sent back to the pavilion after hitting 25 off 74 deliveries.
The 26-year-old edged to short leg, where Azhar Ali was placed to catch, giving Yasir Shah his first wicket of the Test.
Kayes (35 not out) and Mominul Haque will resume at the crease for the afternoon session.
