Bangladesh lose quick wickets before lunch

Bangladesh lose three quick wickets before lunch on day two of the first Test against Pakistan in Khulna.

Bangladesh have reached 325-8 at lunch on the second day of the first Test against Pakistan in Khulna.

The hosts began the second day in a reasonably strong position on 236-4, with Shakib Al Hasan and Mushfiqur Rahim at the crease.

However, Pakistan claimed the wicket of Al Hasan (25) with the first ball of the day. The batsman attempted to launch Zulfiqar Babar's delivery over the bowler's head, but the ball came off the inside edge of the bat, which allowed Asad Shafiq to make the catch.

Bangladesh wickets began to fall after they passed 300, with three batsmen dismissed in the final six overs of the session. Soumya Sarkar was the first when he was caught out for 33 by Shafiq off the bowling of Mohammad Hafeez.

Rahim contributed a steady 32 before he gave Misbah Ul-Haq a simple catch at cover as he attempted to cut a Yasir Shah delivery.

Tajul Islam then became the next man to go two overs later for one when he was bowled out by Shah, leaving Pakistan with just two more wickets to claim to wrap up the Bangladeshi innings.
