India have reached lunch on day two of the fourth Test match with Australia on 59-0, in reply to the tourists' 262 all out.
The hosts looked comfortable against Australia's seam bowlers, scoring in excess of four runs per over as they strived to take over their opponents' score by the close of play.
Murali Vijay scored 23 off 42 balls, while his opening partner Cheteshwar Pujara eased to 28 off 42.
Earlier in the session, Peter Siddle recorded his maiden Test fifty before being dismissed for 51, and the innings was wrapped up when James Pattinson fell for 30.
