England captain Alastair Cook has urged his teammates not to dwell on their one-day international victory over India last Friday.
Cook's side managed to defeat their hosts by nine runs in Rajkot to take 1-0 series lead.
However, the opening batsman has insisted that England will need to play even better if they are to open up a 2-0 advantage when the two nations meet again tomorrow morning.
"It was a great start to the series for us, but now we have to move on as a side," Cook told reporters. "We can't keep talking about it. We're going to need the same standard of performance, if not slightly higher.
"We're going to have to up our skills. We've played one game. Let's not get carried away."
England will play a total of five 50-overs encounters in India.
