WBA super-bantamweight champion Scott Quigg has insisted that he has benefited from the extra preparation time for his fight with Yoandris Salinas.
The bout was put back seven days after the encounter between David Haye and Tyson Fury was postponed, but Quigg believes that it has given him the opportunity to improve on his sharpness ahead of Saturday's fight.
The 24-year-old told Sky Sport News: "It could have been difficult, because I was ready to go last Saturday.
"I didn't think that I could be any more ready, but I'm even sharper and more focused. Tomorrow night, you are going to see the best of me."
Quigg, who is unbeaten in 25 fights, was handed the WBA title after it was vacated last month.
