Report: Dwane Casey signs new Toronto Raptors contract

Dwane Casey reportedly agrees to a three-year extension with the Toronto Raptors.

Dwane Casey has reportedly agreed a new three-year contract to extend his stay with the Toronto Raptors.

The Raptors were eliminated from the playoffs on Sunday following a defeat to the Brooklyn Nets in game seven of the series, but the coach's achievements with the team are believed to have not gone unnoticed.

According to ESPN, his reward for winning the Atlantic Division is an extension to his current deal after the two parties agreed to a new contract.

Casey led the Raptors to 48 games during the regular season, and was praised for getting the best out of his team after bringing in Rudy Gay during the trade window.

The 57-year-old was named Toronto coach in 2011.
