The Phoenix Suns turned in an industrious performance on Sunday night to defeat the Minnesota Timberwolves 127-120 at the Target Center.

The Brooklyn Nets managed to score a season sweep over the Dallas Mavericks for the first time since 1999-2000, with a 107-104 away win at the American Airlines Center, with Joe Johnson scoring 22 points and Marcus Thornton coming off the bench to add 20 for the visitors.

Darrell Arthur matched a career-high tally with three 3-pointers as he helped the Denver Nuggets beat the Washington Wizards 105-102 at the Pepsi Center, as Kenneth Faried also stood out with 20 points, eight rebounds and three blocks.

Finally, in Canada, DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry scored 23 of their combined 46 points in the fourth quarter to help the Toronto Raptors overturn a 14-point deficit to defeat the Atlanta Hawks during Sunday's afternoon fixture.
