Los Angeles Lakers' Kobe Bryant refuses to be drawn on future

Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant refuses to comment on whether he will retire from the NBA after the 2015-16 season.

Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant has refused to confirm whether the 2015-16 season will be the last of his career.

The 37-year-old hinted that his 20th campaign in the NBA could be the final year of his illustrious tenure in the league, due to a spate of injuries.

However, Bryant refused to be drawn on his future ahead of his side's training camp for the upcoming campaign.

"If it is, it is," Bryant told reporters. "If it isn't, I'll be ready for next season. I don't spend too much time thinking about it. I've got enough to think about."

Bryant is expected to be fit for the start of the season after recovering from surgery on a torn rotator cuff.
