Miami Heat star Chris Bosh has been cleared for full participation in training camp for the organisation after recovering from a serious injury last season.
Bosh missed the final 30 games of the campaign after a blood clot was found in his left lung, and has since been taking blood-thinning medication to cure the issue.
"I feel a little bit of urgency," Bosh told reporters.
"I do not have much longer to play this game. That is just a fact. I wanted to make sure I had the ability to hit the ground running when the season starts. Most people say, 'Oh, how's he going to react. He had clots.' I look at it as, I had rest. I had to build back up, but I had rest, mentally and physically."
Bosh is a 10-time NBA All-Star, and was averaging 21.1 points per game last season prior to suffering the serious health concern.
