Erik Spoelstra expects Chris Bosh to be cleared for practice

Miami Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra believes that Chris Bosh should be in line to practise in his side's training camp ahead of the 2015-16 season.

Miami Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra has revealed that he expects Chris Bosh to be cleared to compete in his side's training camp.

The 31-year-old was ruled out of the second half of the 2014-15 campaign after a blood clot was found on his left lung, which required treatment to remove.

However, Bosh has now recovered from the problem and is no longer on medication, which will enable his return to the court.

"We fully expect him to be healthy and cleared for contact," Spoelstra told reporters.

Bosh averaged 21.1 points per game for the Heat in 44 matches last season.
