Brooklyn Nets power forward Andrea Bargnani has injured his ankle while playing in an international game for Italy.
The 29-year-old, who signed for the Nets after coming to the end of his contract with the New York Knicks earlier this summer, limped out during the first quarter of the game.
However, Sportando reported that the injury is not serious enough to prevent him from playing in the EuroBasket tournament next month ahead of the start of the 2015-16 NBA season.
Bargnani struggled with injury throughout last season, manning just 29 games for the Knicks.
