Great Britain's Chris O'Hare joins Charlie Grice in the semi-final of the 1500m in Beijing with a fifth-place finish.

Chris O'Hare has followed Great Britain teammate Charlie Grice into the semi-finals of the 1500m event at the World Athletics Championships in Beijing this morning.

The 24-year-old clocked a time of 3:38.43 with a fifth-placed finish as he moved into the next phase.

Grice, 21, posted 3:43.21 earlier in the morning to progress, with the duo being Britain's only representation in the male event.

Their progression adds to an impressive session on the track for GB so far, with Stephanie Twell also squeezing into the women's 5,000m final.

Later this morning, USA-born sisters Tiffany Porter and Cindy Ofili will represent Britain in the 100m hurdles.
