Lawrence Clarke aiming to peak at 2016 Olympic Games

British hurdler Lawrence Clarke reveals that he is hopeful of finding his best form for next year's Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.

Lawrence Clarke has revealed that he hopes finding consistency throughout the next 12 months will aid his bid to win a medal at next year's Olympic Games.

In 2012 in London, Clarke was a surprise fourth place in the 110m hurdles final, but after recovering from a series of injuries, he is confident of securing a spot on the podium in Brazil providing that preparation goes well.

The 26-year-old told BBC Points West: "I'm rounding into great shape, I'm back to where I was in 2012 and really the next 12 months will be capitalising on the consistency I've had and trying to get a bit faster to get into that medal zone."

Clarke has been named in the Great Britain squad for the World Athletics Championships in Beijing later this month.
